Who am i?

Hi, I’m Dr. Truong! I was born and raised in a small town in Ontario and later earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo. My journey in optometry took me to Boston, where I completed my Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry (NECO).

Throughout my training, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, specialty clinics, private practices, and community health centers. I’ve gained experience in areas such as ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, dry eye management, pediatrics, vision therapy, concussion/TBI rehabilitation, OD/OMD co-management, and primary care. During optometry school, I was actively involved in extracurriculars, including serving as Past President of the Canadian Association of Optometry Students (CAOS) NECO Chapter.

I’m also a proud member of the British Columbia Doctors of Optometry (BCDO) and Canadian Women in Eye Care (CWEC).
